Thunder

“He was thunder:
Just an echo of a bright light
Whose awe had long past.”
— Thunder, The Song of the Sky

This poem holds so many layers of meaning. At first, it was a reflection on loud voices without substance—those who make noise but leave no lasting impact. But now, I see it as something more poignant: a memory of someone who once shone so brightly but whose presence has faded into a distant echo.

“Thunder” is about fleeting brilliance, the kind of connection that roars with intensity, yet drifts away, leaving only the sound of its passing. It’s a reminder of the beauty and impermanence of certain moments—and the echoes that remain.
